Robi's donation to info commission

Mobile operator Robi has provided computers and other accessories to the Information Commission in a bid to strengthen capacity of the commission and facilitate effective implementation of the Right to Information process.
The mobile operator made the donation as part of their memorandum of understanding of cooperation, said a handout.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Robi Michael Kuehner handed over the equipment to the Chief Information Commissioner Muhammad Zamir at a ceremony in the city Tuesday.
Mr Zamir said this cooperation is the reflection of an example of good governance and accountability.
Robi has expressed its happiness to be a partner of the Right to Information process which is aimed at furthering good governance and accountability through transparency.
Information Commissioners Mohammad Abu Taher, Prof Sadeka Halim, senior officials of the Information Commission, Robi Executive Vice President, CRL, Mahmudur Rahman and other top officials were also present at the ceremony.
