Rohingya leader shot dead in Cox's Bazar

COX'S BAZAR, Feb 23 (UNB): Another leader of the Rohingya community was shot dead by unknown assailants in Ukhia upazila of Cox's Bazar district on Thursday.
The dead is Mohammad Selim (28), a sub-majhi (deputy head) of Kutupalong camp. Sheikh Mohammad Ali, officer-in-charge of Ukhia thana, said Selim was out overseeing the field-level work of volunteers on Wednesday night. Suddenly, a group of miscreants opened fire on him, leaving him seriously injured.
