Role of NDC, DSCSC vital to build leadership: President

The 10th joint governing body meeting of National Defence College (NDC) and Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) was held Thursday at Bangabhaban in the city with President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed in the chair, reports BSS.
The President, who is also the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, said the role of NDC and DSCSC in building professionalism and leadership among both military and civil officers are highly admirable.
Professor Iajuddin said, in the present world, the magnitude of defence and national security definition had increased largely. In this backdrop, the civil service officers also needed to acquire practical knowledge about defence and national security along with the military officials, he added.
