Royal Bengal to launch domestic flights

Royal Bengal Group, a British-Bangladeshi joint-venture, will launched domestic flights in Bangladesh.
Royal Bengal Group celebrated the arrival of its first aircraft as it roared through the skies of the country.
The Dash-8 flew into Zia International Airport where Royal Bengal directors gathered to observe the moment.
Royal Bengal will initially serve the country's domestic routes including Dhaka to Sylhet and Dhaka to Chittagong.
Royal Bengal Group Chairman Abdul Kadir Chowdhury was present on the occasion. He thanked all the investors and global Bangladeshi community for their support. He said: "this is merely the beginning and a long road lies ahead".
Managing Director Syed Habibur Rahman said, "With aircrafts prepared to the highest European and JA regulations and highly-trained staffs, I am confident, we will ensure a total customer safety, reliability and satisfaction to an underserved domestic flight market of Bangladesh".
Vice Chairman of the company Heron Miah said the company is also aiming for a rapid expansion of its aircraft fleet to serve the growing needs of the domestic and regional markets.
The company is now working with a number of organisations to source and finance further aircrafts for its international services.
