RTV official crushed under train

An official of RTV, a private television station, has been hit and killed by a train in Dhaka city on Thursday. The dead is Polash Roy, son of Bhanu Roy of Astogram upazila in Kishoreganj. Witnesses said Polash was crossing the level-crossing at Kuril Bishwa Road at 7:45 am on Thursday. A Dhaka-bound train hit him from behind leaving him dead on the spot. On information police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy, according to a news agency.
