RU closes admission process of 1st year Hons

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Apr 5: The Rajshahi University (RU) authority has closed the admission process of first year Honours course under academic session 2014-15, despite about 56 seats are lying vacant in different departments, sources said.
In previous academic years the authority had published waiting lists several times for vacant seats. But this year the administration stopped admission procedure last month despite 56 seats were left vacant under different faculties. The administration has started classes of first year new batch from February last without announcing any admission notice for the vacant seats.
