RU pol science dept observes golden jubilee

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Mar 29: Political science is an essential element and is a basic tool to do research and education in government as well as civil society, said the speakers at the golden jubilee programme of the political science department in a seminar on "Constitution Amendment and Democratic Rules: Perspective Bangladesh" on the first day of a two-day long programme of the department at the Rajshahi university (RU) yesterday.
Former teacher of the department Prof. Abul Fazal Haque presented the keynote paper while founder chairman of the department Prof. Badaruddin Omar addressed the meeting as the chief guest.
