RU student goes missing since Thursday

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Mar 28: A student of the Rajshahi University (RU) went missing from the university campus on Thursday evening, classmates and family members claimed. A general diary (GD) has been filed at Motihar police station in this connection.
The missing student was identified as Sanjay Kumar Mahato, a first year final examinee of the Philosophy department and a resident of Avilash Pents mess of Dharmapur area, adjacent to the RU campus.
As his pre-scheduled first year final examination was held on Friday morning at 8:00 pm, Sanjay was absent in the exam hall.
Prosenjit Mahato, uncle of Sanjoy, also a final year student of RU public administration department told the newsmen that he (Sanjoy) is the son of Binabondhu Mahato at Tarash Thana in Sirajganj district.
The missing student's classmates informed that on Thursday evening he went out his rented mess and did not return. His family members expressed anxiety and said they searched for him at every possible place they could.
