RU teacher receives death threat

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Apr 06: Dr Abdul Matin Talukder, a teacher of Music and Theatre dept. and also provost of Mader Bakhs hall of the Rajshahi University (RU), was threatened to be killed by an unidentified outlaws party demanding toll recently.
His family sources said at 9:30 am an unidentified person called from a mobile phone Dr Matin introduced him a member of an outlawed party and wanted more than one lakh taka for compensation of their some activists those were injured and imprison now.
Otherwise he will be killed if he failed to pay their demanded amount.
RU teacher informed to the proctor and also filed a General Diary (GD) at Motihar police station in this regard.
Habibur Rahman, acting officer of Motihar police station said we already informed Detective Branch (DB) for proper investigation in this matter.
