RUET sets up RO water plant in halls

RAJSHAHI, Apr 01: A modern reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment plant has been set up in four residential halls of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) on Monday.
The university administration expressed the hope that the initiative will ensure safe drinking water for residential students.
According to university sources, all technical work to install the plant on the rooftops of four newly built residential halls-Student Hall-1, Student Hall-2, Nawab Faizunnesa Chowdhurani Hall, and another Student Hall-2-has been completed.
The project was implemented by the university's Planning and Development Department at a cost of approximately Tk 3.0 million.
