RUJA gets new executive body

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Jan 21: M.A. Sayeed Shuvo, a correspondent of the Daily Star and Mahbub Alam, correspondent of the Daily Prothom Alo have been made president and general secretary of the new executive committee 2014-15 of the Rajshahi University Journalist Association (RUJA), on Tuesday evening.
The other nominated executives are vice presidents Sujan Nazir and Amjad Hossain Shimul, joint secretary Rafiqul Islam, organising secretary Anisur Rahman Rony, treasurer Rokon Rakib, office secretary Hasan Adib, publicity and publication secretary Robiul Islam Robi, literary and cultural affairs secretary Mostafiz Mishu, sports secretary Abu Jafar, information technology affairs secretary Sazed Manik and agenda and planning secretary Mehedi Hasan.
Besides, the two executive members elected are Mostafiz Rony and Sayeed Hasan Raj.
Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, RUTA and different students organisations of the university welcomed the new committee.
