Rupali Bank donates Tk 19.217m for flood victims

Rupali Bank PLC donated Tk 19.217 million to the Chief Adviser's Relief & Welfare Fund for flood victims recently, says a press release.
Of the total amount, the bank's employees donated their one day's salary equivalent to Tk 6.717 million to the Fund on Monday and Tk 12.5 million was credited as special donation on August 25. Some 12 districts of the country including Cumilla, Feni, Noakhali and Lakshmipur have been flooded recently due to torrential rains and onrush of upstream water.
