RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Sept 20: Shamim Rahman, a correspondent of daily Samokal and Ali Ramzan, correspondent of daily Jonokantho were elected president and general secretary of Rajshahi University Reporters Unity (RURU), said a press release today.
The other office-bearers of the committee are vice presidents Fahmida Soruv and Abu Obayda, joint secretary Shahidul Islam, treasurer Kaikobad Khan, office secretary Joyshree Bhaduri, organising secretary Sadi Mahmud, publishing secretary Jobayda Jyoti, sports secretary
Shafiqul Islam and entertainment secretary Jannatul Ferdous.
Three executive members are, Shamim Reza, Joydeb Barmon and Khairul Islam.
