\\\'Russia cooperates with BD like liberation war time\\\'

State Minister for Science and Technology Architect Yeafesh Osman has said that Russia is cooperating with Bangladesh as they did during Bangladesh’s War of Liberation in 1971. He mentioned that Russia is cooperating in power sector too what they had had immediately after the independence. ‘Russian President Vladimir Putin enhanced their cooperation to Bangladesh in establishing the 2,000 megawatt (mw) nuclear power plant in Rooppur as per Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s special request,’ Yeafesh Osman said while addressing a programme in the city. He informed that the government, led by Sheikh Hasina, has also taken an imitative to impart training to those who will work in Rooppur project, according to a news agency.
