South Africa beat Netherlands by 6 runs in a Group 1 Super 10 match of the ICC World Twenty20 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Thursday. Netherlands skipper Peter Borren won the toss and decided to field first. Ahsan Malik took five wickets as the Netherlands restricted South Africa to 145/9. It was a slow wicket which needed batsmen to get starts and convert it but most of the South African batsmen couldn't do so. de Kock perished pretty early and Amla played a blinder of an innings. From there on though, the Dutch choked the run-flow and more importantly, they gave away no boundaries in some crucial 8 middle overs.
South Africa 145/9 (20/20 ov)
Netherlands 139 (18.4/20 ov)
