S Arabia donates $50m for flood victims

Saudi King Abdullah ordered the Ministry of Finance to provide immediate assistance of $50 million to Bangladesh that suffered huge losses of human life and property in the current floods. Quoting a statement of the Royal Court on Thursday the Saudi Press Agency said, the aid will also include airlifting of medical relief, basic requirements and food in coordination with the Saudi Red Crescent Society, and cooperation of the humanitarian organisations and the Bangladesh government.— UNB
