NEW DELHI, Feb 24 (bdnews24.com): South Africa completed a comprehensive seven wicket win with 43 balls to spare against West Indies in their first match of the World Cup on Thursday. The unbeaten century of AB de Villiers (107) sealed victory for South Africa at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. AB de Villiers was unbeaten on 107 runs with Jean-Paul Duminy on 42 at the close of the game. The match was stopped briefly for rain in the 39th over but soon the conditions were fine for the game to resume on Thursday. Villiers' second World Cup century came off 97 balls with help of eight boundaries and two sixes; it is the fastest hundred scored by any South African batsman in the World Cup.
