Sadharan Bima's authorised, paid-up capital raised

The government has raised the authorised capital of Sadharan Bima Corporation to Tk 15 billion (Tk 1,500 crore) from the existing Tk 10 billion (Tk 1,000 crore) as per Insurance Corporation Act, 2019, says a press release of the corporation.
At the same time, the government has raised the paid-up capital of Sadharan Bima to Tk 9.0 billion (Tk 900 crore) from the existing Tk 5.0 billion (Tk 500 crore).
This increase in paid-up capital will enhance the image of Sadharan Bima Corporation with insurers and reinsurers at home and abroad and boost public confidence in the corporation.
