Sagicor HPC take 159-run lead

The Sagicor High Performance Centre (SHPC) of West Indies took 159-run lead against visiting Bangladesh A team on the second day of the second four-day match at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados Tuesday, reports UNB.
On Tuesday, Bangladesh opened the first innings and scored 219 for all in 71.5 overs.
Skipper Nasir Hossain scored the team highest 53 runs off 87 balls with 10 fours while Marshall Ayub added 41 runs off 133 balls with three fours and a six.
Nurul Hasan (36), opener Imrul Kayes (21), Mominul Haque (13) and Taijul Islam (11) were the other notable scorers for Bangladesh.
Sheldon Cottrell and Devendra Bishoo claimed three wickets each for 30 and 57 runs respectively while Jonathan Carter, Miguel Cummins and Ashley Nurse took one wicket apiece.
Sagicor HPC opened their second innings (354 in 1st innings) and scored 24 runs for no loss in 16 overs, at stumps on the second day.
Chadwick Walton and Assad Fudadin remained unbeaten on 8 and 16 runs.
