Saturday, 16 October 2010
Home Minister Sahara Khatun warned that stern action would be taken against those conspirators who were creating anarchy and disorder in the country since beginning of the trial of war criminals.
"They are hatching conspiracy everyday, in very moment to stop the trial. But, we will proceed on the process with the support of people," she said.
Sahara was addressing a discussion held at Banani T&T Colony in the city Friday, reports BSS.
Mayor Hanif Memorial Foundation and Dhaka Urban Comprehensive Eye Care Project jointly organised the discussion marking the World White Stick Day 2010.
The Foundation Chairman Saeed Khokon presided over the function, while the Project Coordinator M Nur-Un-Nobi, former ward commissioner Mofizur Rahman, Islamia Eye Hospital Chairperson Jaheda Ispahani and Dr Wahidul Islam were present.
"The trial will be finished by the tenure of the present government," Sahara said adding, any conspiracy to foil the long demand of people would be handled sternly.
She said the persons, who had killed Bangabandhu and promulgated indemnity ordinance to bar the trial of the heinous killing, were behind the evil force trying to thwart the trial process.
