Former Finance Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Saifur Rahman along with other family members met his detained son, Naser Rahman, at the Dhaka Central Jail Friday.
DIG (Prisons) Shamsul Haider Siddiqui told the UNB that Naser's father (Saifur Rahman), his uncle, brother, daughter and son came to the jail gate at 10:45 am.
They came out of the jail at 11:15 am after a 30-minute meeting with Naser Rahman.
The DIG (Prisons) said the relatives could meet a detained person at the jail once in 15 days as per the Jail Code.
On February 22, the Army-led joint forces arrested Naser Rahman on various charges, including illegal occupation of government land and tender manipulation.
