Sainik League GS killed in city

Bangabandhu Sainik League general secretary was stabbed to death allegedly by rivals in the city's Kafrul area on Monday night, reports UNB.
The dead is Mohammod Rubel Mian (32), son of Mohammod Abdul Kader, hailing from Gopalgonj.
The deceased's elder brother Roman alleged that a group of miscreants, including Mohammod Kamal Hossain, president of Krishok League, Saiful Islam, member of Jubo League's unit at Ward No 94 and one Kala Faruk stabbed Rubel in front of his house at West Kajipara Bank Colony around 10:00 pm.
The attackers hurriedly fled the scene when Roman and others rushed to the spot hearing Rubel's scream.
Rubel was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in a critical condition around 11:00 pm. Doctors declared him dead around 11:30pm.
Officer-in charge (OC) of DMCH police camp, Mojammel Hoque confirmed the incident and said Morsalin and Khalek were detained from the hospital area for interrogation.
