Sajeda acting AL President

Awami League (AL) presidium member and Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury will perform as acting AL president in absence of party chief Sheikh Hasina, reports UNB.
AL president and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for New York Sunday night to attend the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
On September 29, Sheikh Hasina will depart New York for Dhaka. On her way back home, Hasina will have a one-day stopover in London.
