MAGURA, Mar 20: 'Let the new generation know the true history of liberation war, otherwise our nation will be deprived of the fruits of independence. Teachers community can play a vital role in informing the new generation of the true history of liberation', said deputy leader of parliament Sajeda Chowdhury at the 100th anniversary of Nakul Roycharan High School under Sreepur Upazila of Magura. She added, the present government is contemplating to change the living standard of farmers. Now farmers do not have to run after fertilisers, rather fertilisers run after farmers. Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Chairman prof: M.S Akber and Magura Municipality Mayor Md. Altaf Hossan spoke on the occasion while former deputy secretary Motahar Hossain was in the chair. Seminar on HIV, TB Another report adds: 'Building up awareness can make a positive effect in controlling H.I.V, Tuberculosis and drug addiction. Social movement can remove HIV, Tuberculosis and drug addiction to a great extent', said the speakers at a seminar Thursday. The seminar was held at katakhali Bazar under Magura Sadar Upazila. Kazi Abdul Hoque Memorial foundation arranged the seminar.
