Sajeeb Wazed Joy visits Pirganj today

RANGPUR, July 11 (BSS): Preparations have been completed ahead of Saturday's visit of the brilliant son of Rangpur Sajeeb Wazed Joy to Pirganj where a wave of happiness prevails among the commoners, especially students and young generations.
Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina's son and noted information technology (IT) expert Sajeeb Wazed Joy, who is also IT adviser to the PM, will attend a number of programmes at different places in Pirganj.
According to local Awami League (AL) sources, IT expert Sajeeb Wazed Joy will provide connections of electricity to 3,000 new consumers of 50 villages of the Upazila and attend a jute farmers' gathering during the daylong visit.
He will attend the launching ceremony of computer laboratories at Pirganj Women College, Kochhimon Nesa Girls' High School and Pirganj Model Girls' High School and Wi-Fi facilities at Pirganj Government High School, Shah Abdur Rouf College and Kochhimon Nesa Girls' High School.
Minister for Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Abdul Latif Siddiqui will preside over the ceremony at Kochhimon Nesa Girls' High School for launching the computer laboratories and Wi-Fi facilities at these educational institutions.
Later, Joy will attend a jute farmers' gathering on 'Production of high yielding variety jute and jute seed and improved technology for retting of jute fibre' at Pirganj Government High School.
