Sajib Ali of B\\\'desh takes lead in individual event

Mohammad Sajib Ali of Bangladesh leads the individual category of the 29th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship after first round matches at the Kurmitola Golf Club in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
In the individual category, Sajib Ali tops the list with 3 under par making a gross score of 69.
Another Bangladeshi golfer, Mohammad Nazim is in 2nd place with 2 under par having 70 gross score while Ekthumrong Luanganruk of Thailand is in the 3rd slot with level par making a gross score of 72.
In the team category, Thailand holds the first position while Bangladesh 'A' and 'B' teams were in the 2nd and 3rd slot respectively.
The result of team championship will be determined by two-round gross score of two players of the teams. But in the individual category, four- round total gross score will determine the winner.
