Sakib elected as chairman, Mohiuddin reelected and Sadeq elected as vice-chairmen

Khandaker Sakib Ahmed was unanimously elected as chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities in its 92nd meeting held on Wednesday last week. In the same meeting, Mohiuddin Ahmed was reelected and Md. Jafar Sadeq elected as vice-chairmen, according to a press release.
Khandaker Sakib, one of the sponsors and directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank, has creditable business experience for more than three decades.
He is the chairman of Own the World Company Limited, owns the World Hajj &Umrah Limited and Intech Limited. Besides, he is the member of the governing body of Eastern University and Al-Azhar International Grammar School. He is one of the Director of Hurdco International School.
The reelected Vice-Chairman Mohiuddin Ahmed has a successful business experience for more than four decades. He is the proprietor of Rupsha Trading Corporation and Mohiuddin Auto House. He is also the chairman of Pecific Automobiles. Mohiuddin Ahmed is the vice-chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank and sponsor shareholder of Islami Insurance Bangladesh.
The another elected Vice-Chairman Md. Jafar S adeq is serving as the deputy managing director & chief financial officer (CFO) of Shahjalal Islami Bank.
He is a fellow chartered accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He began his professional career in 2002 with HodaVasi Chowdhury (HVC), Chartered Accountants, where he developed a solid foundation in auditing, financial control systems, regulatory compliance and corporate governance practices.
