Sakoa Bridge construction to begin soon

Construction work of the much-awaited Sakoa Bridge near Dholvanga on Gaibandha-Palashbari Road in Gaibandha district will begin soon. Roads and Highways Division (RHD) will implement the work of the 40.30-metre-long and 24-metre-wide bridge at a cost of Tk 30.83 million. The government will provide the fund, official sources said. Talking to the journalists, executive engineer of RHD M Mahbubul Alam Khan said the construction of the main bridge will start soon and it will be completed by June, 2015, according to BSS.
