Wednesday, 27 May 2015

BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed was released from a specialised hospital in Shillong Tuesday afternoon, reports UNB.
He is likely to be produced before an Indian court on intrusion charge today (Wednesday).
Shillong Police Superintendent Vivek Syiem told BBC Bangla that doctors of North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) discharged Salahuddin as they think his physical condition is now good.
The police official said the BNP leader will be kept in Shillong Sadar Police Station Tuesday for formal interrogation and then be brought to the court Wednesday.
