Salim Chy\\\'s death anniversary today

The 12th anniversary of death of Salim Ullah Chowdhury, veteran freedom fighter and first elected Upazila chairman of Chhagalnaiya Upazila in Feni, will be observed today (Monday), said a press
release.
He was one of the organisers of the War of Liberation in 1971.
Salim Ullah Chowdhury played a vital role in establishing Chhagalnaiya Girls School, Chhagalnaiya Collge and Feni Balika Bidya Niketon.
The family members of Mr Chowdhury have requested all relatives, friends and well-wishers to pray for eternal peace of the departed soul, the press release added.
