Salman, Anisul shown arrested in murder cases

Salman Fazlur Rahman, former private industry affairs adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Anisul Huq, former law minister, Shajahan Khan, former shipping minister, Sadek Khan, former lawmaker and Abdullah al Mamun, former IGP, were shown arrested in separate murder cases on Tuesday, reports BSS.
Salman, Anisul, Sahjahan and Sadek were shown arrested in a case lodged over the murder of Kobi Nazrul College student Tahidul Islam, who was killed in the Tejgaon area of the capital on August 04.
In a separate case, Salman, Anisul and Mamun were shown arrested for killing Md Shahabuddin in Agargaon on August 05.
Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Saifuzzaman passed the order scrapping the bail pleas filed by the defendants' lawyers as investigation officers of the cases appealed to the court to show them arrested in the cases.
