Samson H Chy elected MTBL chairman

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTBL), in its 78th board meeting, have elected the bank's sponsor directors Samson H Chowdhury and Arif Dowla its chairman and vice-chairman respectively.
Earlier, S Chowdhury was MTBL's vice-chairman. He is also the chairman of Square, Central Depository Ltd and Shabazpur Tea Estate. He is a life member of Transparency International Bangladesh chapter and its former chairman.
He is a Senior Cambridge, and also participated in a management training course, jointly conducted by the University of Dhaka and the Harvard University.
On the other hand, Arif Dowla is the managing director of Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) Limited. He obtained PhD degree in mathematics from the University of California. He is also a member of the American Mathematical Society.
