Sanaullah Shahid elected EC chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank

Md. Sanaullah Shahid was unanimously elected as chairman of executive committee (EC) of Shahjalal Islami Bank in its 404th meeting of the board of directors on January 28.
At the same meeting, Khandaker Sakib Ahmed was elected as vice-chairman of executive committee of the bank, according to a press release.
Md. Sanaullah Shahid started business after getting a bachelor degree. He is a sponsor shareholder of Shahjalal Islami Bank & vice-chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Ltd.. Sanaullah has long and creditable business experience for more than three decades. He is the chairman of Electra International Limited, director of Electra Consumer Electronics Industries Limited, Electra Mobile Ltd., Electra Holding Ltd. and Electra Industries Ltd. He is also a partner of Electra International, Electra Mobile, Electra Furniture, Kashmir Chemical Company, Sazawa Brothers and Jalshiri Dairy Farm & Fishery.
Newly elected Vice-Chairman Khandaker Sakib Ahmed is one of the sponsors and director of Shahjalal Islami Bank. He has long and creditable business experience for more than three decades and is a holder of a MBA Degree. Sakib is the chairman of Own the World Company Limited, Own the World Hajj & Umrah Limited and Intech Limited.
He is the director of AQUA Consultants &Associates Ltd. and sponsor of Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Limited. He is also the Shareholder of Millennium Information Solution Limited and Partner of Innovio IT.
