Sand quarry guard stabbed dead

A night guard of a sand quarry was stabbed to death by some miscreants at Adalot Para at Brahmanbaria town on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Mokbul, 35. Informed by local people, police recovered the body and sent it to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately. Miscreants might have stabbed Makbul to death at some time early Saturday, local and hospital sources said. Police could not arrest anyone in this connection, they said, according to a news agency.
