Sanofi Pasteur has introduced flu vaccine Vaxigrip in Bangladesh aiming to prevent the contagious disease caused by the influenza virus which affects the whole body, often leading to death.
In a bid to give momentum to public awareness on flu and vaccination, Sanofi Pasteur (the vaccine division of Sanofi-Aventis group) in collaboration with Dhaka Shishu (Children) Hospital and Bangladesh Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases (BSPID) organised a press briefing and free vaccination programme on the hospital premises Sunday.
