SAP strengthens its presence in Bangladesh

SAP, a German-based world renowned software company, Tuesday expressed its fresh commitment to touch every citizens of Bangladesh with its different innovative solutions in the coming days.
The company officials made the commitment at a press conference at a city hotel announcing their new alliances and strategic plans for the country in 2012.
"About two dozen public and private companies, banks and other organisations including the country's central bank are using SAP technology currently. We want to touch every citizen of Bangladesh by SAP's innovative solutions," they said.
The enterprise business solution provider is showcasing many new innovative solutions like mobility, cloud, in-memory, analytics and database technology at the day-long SAP Forum-2012 at the city's Hotel Westin Tuesday.
As part of its move to expand its presence in Bangladesh, SAP is working with a number of local partners to develop pre-packaged and localised SAP solution offerings to help the country's customers adopt best practices and drive business transformation, the officials said.
