Sarod recital by Amjad Ali Khan

A three-hour Sarod recital by the internationally acclaimed Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan will be held at Dhaka Club tomorrow (Thursday) from 9.00 pm onwards. The Sarod maestro is expected to enthrall a large audience with his heavenly ripples from the string of his Sarod, says a press release.
It will be the only programme of the great Khan during his stay in Bangladesh. This is his second visit to Bangladesh after almost 30 years. During this visit Ustad Amjad Ali Khan will be accompanied by his wife Subhalakshmi Khan, a great exponent of Indian classical Dance Bharatnatyam. Ustad Amjad Ali Khan will be received at the airport by Mr. Sadat Hossain Salim, President, Dhaka Club Limited.
