Satkhira house robbed of valuables

Robbers looted valuables worth Tk 0.8 million from a house at Sultanpur at Satkhira town early Thursday. Abu Bakkar Siddique, owner of the house, said a gang of 7/8 armed robbers stormed his house around 2:45am by breaking open the door and held the house inmates hostage at gunpoint. They looted five tolas gold ornaments, Tk 0.5 muillion in cash, mobile phone sets and other valuable items from the house and decamped with the booty, according to a news agency.
