Saudi envoy meets Ershad

Saudi Ambassador in Dhaka Dr Abdullah Bin Naser Al Busairi on Sunday met Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad and discussed various bilateral issues, including the ways how Bangladesh’s ties with Saudi Arabia can be strengthened further. Ershad, also a Special Envoy to the Prime Minister, discussed the current issues related to Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia during the meeting with the Saudi envoy held at his Banani office, said a JP official. Earlier, on March 5, the former president met Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and expressed his desire to work to explore the manpower market in the Middle-East, according to a news agency.
