Saudi expat found dead in city hotel

A 40-year-old Bangladesh expatriate in Saudi Arabia has been found dead at a hotel in the capital, reports UNB.
The deceased is Al Amin, son of Ferdous Uddin of Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur district.
Masum Billah, sub-inspector of Paltan Police Station, said Al Amin was found unconscious at the washroom of a room of 'Hotel Ramna' on Friday afternoon and later he was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Al Amin had developed a relationship with a girl named Sagarika of Bagerhat district through social networking site Facebook six months ago.
Recently Al Amin returned home from Saudi Arabia.
On Friday, Al Amin accompanied by the girl checked into Room 923 on the eighth floor of the hotel.
The girl said when Al Amin went to the washroom of the hotel she heard a loud sound and found Al Amin lying on the floor.
Hearing her screams, the staff of the hotel rushed in and took him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
Police detained Sagarika for interrogation, said SI Masum.
