Savar road crash leaves 1 dead, 10 hurt

A man was killed and at least 10 other people were injured as a bus plunged into a ditch after it collided with a minibus in Ashulia Toll Plaza in Savar on Monday morning. The deceased could not be identified. Police said a Dhaka-bound bus plunged into the roadside ditch after it collided with a Nabinagar-bound minibus around 7:00am, instantly killing the man and injuring at least 10 others. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy. The injured were rescued and rushed to local hospitals and clinics, according to a news agency.
