The family of one-year-and-nine-month-old Zubair, who has been suffering from thalassaemia, has appealed to affluent people for generous help to save him.
Zubair has now been receiving treatment at Thalassaemia Centre at Shishu Hospital under the supervision of Prof Wakar Ahmed.
He needs to undergo bone-marrow transplantation, which is not possible in the country. The costly treatment is available in India, says a press release.
The child's father is unable to bear the treatment cost. So, he has sought cooperation from all to continue his treatment.
