Prosecution witness Mizanur Rahman Talukder on Tuesday told the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) that Jama'at leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee was overtly and covertly involved in evil acts like killing, arson, loot, rape and coercively converted Hindus to Muslims at his Parerhat locality in Pirojpur during the liberation war, reports UNB.
While giving his second day's testimony, freedom fighter (FF) Mizan said after the occupation forces reached Parerhat and the formation of Rajakars having its makeshift camp in May 1971, Sayedee also engaged in handing over captured local women to the occupation forces at its camp.
Closing his testimony, Mizan, who had been watching from hiding the criminal activities of the occupation forces and its cohorts Rajakars at Parerhar Bazar and its adjoining areas and collected information from people about their misdeeds, sought exemplary punishment of Sayedee for his evil acts, including the misdeed of inhuman torturing his elder brother at Rajakar Camp set up in an occupied building owned by Fakir Das.
