Sayeed re-elected Chairman of Global Insurance

The Board of Directors of Global Insurance Limited (GIL) in its recent Board meeting has unanimously re-elected Sayeed Ahmed as the Chairman and elected S M Sarowar Alam as the Vice Chairman of the company, says a statement.
Sayeed Ahmed, a promising entrepreneur and industrialist, has achieved tremendous success in business arena within a very short time. He is the Chairman of Bangladesh Check Technology Limited & Purity Foods Ltd; Managing Director of Vantage Securities Ltd, City Homes Ltd and Al Taiyer International Ltd.
He is the sponsor shareholder & former EC Chairman of the Padma Bank Ltd. Besides, he is the Proprietor of Ahmed Shipping lines, Ahmed Inland Shipping Agency, A K International and Ahmed Airways Services.
Vice Chairman S M Sarowar Alam is a versatile businessman and industrialist. He hails from Pabna town. He obtained BA (Hons) and MA degrees in economics. He is the Sponsor-Director of Global Insurance Ltd, Hot dress Ltd, Winter Dress Ltd, Knit Valley Fashions Ltd and proprietor of SS Enterprise.
He is associated with a number of socio-cultural organisations.
Sarowar Alam had also served as Vice Chairman of Global Insurance Ltd during 2009-2010.
