SBI provides RO water systems
State Bank of India (SBI) recently provided Reverse Osmosis (RO) water systems in salinity-prone areas of Bangladesh through Shakti Foundation, a leading non-government organisation, aiming to address the critical issue of saline water in coastal areas in Chattogram, under CSR activity of the bank. Sushil Kumer, Regional Head, South Asia, Amit Kumar, Country Head-Bangladesh, and Vikash Kumer, CEO-Chattogram, handed over a cheque to Shakti Foundation Executive Director Humaira Islam. Debajyoti Banerjee, Head of Credit, Shri Sumanta Ghosh, CEO-Dhaka, SBI; and Abhimanyu Kumar, Head of IT, were also present.
