SC asks ex-Jamuna Bank DMD to surrender

Tuesday, 5 August 2014

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Tuesday asked Mozammel Hossain, former deputy managing director (DMD) of Jamuna Bank, to surrender before the designated court in connection with a graft case accusing him of swindling about Tk 12.0 billion from five banks through Bismillah Group. Vacation chamber court of Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order upon an Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) petition against the High Court order that had granted bail to the accused banker, according to a news agency.
