SC bans placing banners, posters on its premises

The Supreme Court (SC) administration has prohibited placing banners and poster on its premises including Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) campus without prior permission of the authorities.
Md Golam Rabbani, Registrar General of the SC, issued a notification regarding the issue, on October 10.
The notification said, "In order to uphold the solemnity and sanctity of the SC, it is not appropriate to put up posters and banners on its premises including the SCBA without prior permission."
However, the SC administration has asked concerned persons or organisations to remove the banners and posters within the next three days who have already put up banners or posters on the SC premises.
