SC bar polls start

The Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association (BSCBA) polls began Wednesday, reports bdnews24.com. Committee member Aminul Haque Helal told the news agency Tuesday that the two-day elections will be held from 10am to 5pm Wednesday and Thursday. A seven-member sub-committee, headed by Mohammad Harunur Rashid, will administer the polls. Helal said the results of the polls would be declared Friday. According to BSCBA superintendent Nimesh Chandra Sen, 36 lawyers are contesting for 14 posts while the number of voters is 2,310.
