SC order on Zia Charitable Trust graft cases Tuesday

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has set Tuesday (November 25) to pass the order on leave to appeal petition filed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia challenging her indictment in Zia Charitable Trust graft cases. A five-member full bench of the SC, led by Chief Justice Muhammad Mozammel Hossain, passed the order on Tuesday afternoon. The same bench in the morning rejected two leave-to-appeal petitions of BNP chief Khaleda Zia challenging her indictment in Zia Orphanage Trust graft cases, according to a news agency.
