SC summons Janakantha editor, executive editor

The appellate division of the Supreme Court (SC) has summoned editor and executive editor of Dainik Janakantha – a national daily – before it on August 3. The editor and the executive editor of the vernacular daily have been asked to explain an op-ed (opinion-editorial) published in the Bangla newspaper regarding a meeting between a judge and family of condemned war crimes convict Salauddin Quader Chowdhury, according to a news agency.
